I’m a 24 year old missionary on staff at Reef To Outback Townsville, which is a part of Youth With A Mission. I currently work in the communications department, mostly on our websites. We currently manage a few different websites (see http://www.ywamrto.org, http://www.ywamships.org, http://ywam.org.au, http://www.iwtl.org), all of which I have been involved in developing at some point in the last two years.
I also have been taking more of a part in youth ministry here, as well. We run one program called Youth Street , which I have been involved in (on the music team) for more than two years. I do various other activities related to Youth Street on occasion.
I believe that I am called to be a disciple of God… not passively, but actively, being purposeful about spending time in prayer, private worship, and studying the Bible. These take precedence over all else in my life.
I love music, and I believe that playing it is a part of my future: it is my dream to have a larger stage someday, to be able to reach and disciple people in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Here is my vision statement:
My vision is to be dedicated (as a band) to disciple both believers and non-believers, through musical excellence, planned interactive performance, and Godly, relationship-oriented conduct; aiming to teach the Gospel to unbelievers and call Christians to a higher lever in their relationship with God.
So that’s where I hope to be heading, but really I’m open to whatever God wants me to do.
