Well, I had a pretty good Christmas.

I was very blessed to have the Barra's in Ingham adopt me for Christmas, I had a great day with them and their family! It was relaxing being away from the base, in a normal house, sleeping in a normal bed, having normal family meals… wonderful! I always feel really refreshed after going up there.

I also started a new book on Christmas day… “Don't Waste Your Life” by John Piper. It's quite a good book… I don't really know much about John Piper, really… I listen to his sermons via Desiring God's podcast, but that's about it. The book has a bit of testimony as to what he has experienced so far as his walk with God… both intellectually and emotionally.  I've only made it through a few chapters, so far, but it's been really encouraging.

Well, that's about it. I had to buy a new hard drive shortly before Christmas, as my old 320GB one crashed… I ended up getting a 1.5TB drive for $158 AUD, which I think is not too bad of a deal. I'm also working of a nice new 23″ monitor which I bought with a JB Hi-Fi gift card I got for Christmas (thanks guys!).

I feel like I've been pretty bad with blogs and articles, lately, I'll try and provide them a bit more regularly, again, now that work isn't quite as insane (I hope) post-Christmas.  I also have about six and a half weeks before I head home to Canada for a month, and I'm hoping to wrap up my Phillipians and Ephesians studies by then (along with everything else I'm doing).
