Ahh, yes, I'm run out of stuff to do in this lunch break, so I think I'll write a blog.
The weekend is almost here, which is lovely… well my weekend doesn't really start until Sunday, I guess, but still.
One of the guys from Youth Street has his 18th birthday today, and I'm excited to get to go to his party tonight… which tomorrow will be his last day at Youth Street. It's sad, he's become a good friend over… how long has it been now? I think I knew him last time I was in Australia through YS, too… so that's nearly 2 years ago! So… yeah. Bittersweet, I suppose… I don't know how much I'll get to see him, anymore!
Other than that… phew, 3 more hours in the kitchen this week! While I'm learning to serve (willingly) it doesn't make being in the kitchen any nicer, that's for sure. At least we can listen to music

Speaking of music, he he, I'm so excited. The Showdown's new CD “Back Breaker” is in stores on August 19th… but months ago I preordered it, and it's already on it's way to me in shipping! W00hoo! I should get it (I'm hoping) somewhere around the US release date here in Australia! The are easily one of my favorite bands, balancing between aggressive southern rock and metal.
Also, I've made a bit more progress in some of the relationships I've been blogging about, and that's kind of nice too… not going to say too much else about it now, though!
